I wouldn't say though that the patterns of the church follow the patterns of business, but like the quote said - in this case with church planters -- it 'incidentally matches' what is happening in business. I would have to say though that with this generation of people -- overwhelming they favor smaller churches. I would have to say though that with this generation of people — overwhelming they favor smaller churches.

I wonder if that's because the way people work is so integrated into their daily lives now. What was it like in Jesus' day? I wonder if synagogue followed the patterns of business? My guess is no.
